Quanta AGM & Workshop In Birmingham
Quanta will be staging a one day workshop and Annual General Meeting in Birmingham on Sunday 18th April 2010 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The AGM itself will be held at 3.00 pm
The venue will be: "Fircone", 1237 Stratford Road, Hall Green, Birmingham B28 9AA.
Maps will be sent to members with their AGM booklets (non-members are welcome to attend the workshop too, of course), but just typing the postcode B28 9AA into any mapping service such as Multimap or Google should get you a map.
The building is single storey with a large car park. There are plenty of power points around the hall. There is a small kitchen, suitable for making drinks and sandwiches. Plenty of tables and chairs are available.
Hall Green is a Birmingham suburb; the railway station is a few minutes walk from the ‘Fircones’ with regular services from all Birmingham’s main stations. The No.6 bus runs along the road.
There is also easy access from Birmingham International Airport for those wishing to make a flying visit..
I would recommend that drivers come from the M42 rather than using the Birmingham Ring Road (which can get congested)
There is a Premier Inn and a Toby Carvery locally, for those wishing to stop the night. Sarah Gilpin (Quanta Chairman) has details to help you arrange accommodation if required.
We hope that as many members as possible will attend this event in order that our newer members will have the opportunity to meet those with wider experience in all matters relating to the QL.
Traders are cordially invited to attend with their products and associated knowledge and advice for our members. This will be an ideal opportunity for all members to exchange their views and ideas and to meet other members from all parts of the UK and (we hope) some from overseas too.
If you have any specific queries that you would like answered, please send them with full details to Alison Southern (QUANTA Secretary) before the event in order that we can come up with the most suitable answer for you.
